Our company history starts in 1976, with one brand, Perrier^®Sparkling Natural Mineral Water, that launched a generation of bottled water drinkers.  Inside the curvy, green bottle was a delightfully natural beverage free of calories, additives and alcohol.  Perrier changed what people chose to drink and started a bottled water culture, appealing to active, health-minded individuals. 

Four years later, with the belief that bottled water would become even more popular as an alternative to traditional drinks, the company began to seek other high-quality waters, the best brand names, with regional followings and a rich heritage.  Poland Spring^® Brand Natural Spring Water, first bottled in Maine in 1845, was the first domestic bottled water brand added to the company’s portfolio.  Soon after, Calistoga^®Sparkling Mineral Water, from a source in the Napa Valley, California, joined the family.
