Support That Flows from Coast to CoastThroughout 2004, Nestlé Waters North America sponsored events across the country, offering community support as well as great-tasting beverages. The following photos highlight just some of these many activities, helping satisfy the thrist for a quality beverage among loyal Nestlé Waters North America consumers and “new friends” alike.
Putting Kids FirstWhether it was a bottle of spring water to rehydrate, the Ice Mountain snowman, or collecting Blizzard Box snowflakes, Ice Mountain made the March 28th LaSalle Bank Shamrock Shuffle race in Chicago, Illinois (image, below left), a day that offered something everyone could bank on.
Although the LaSalle Bank Chicago (Illinois) Marathon was packed with participants on October 7-10, some attendees took time out for the Ice Mountain climbing wall. Marathoners also were able to make an Ice Mountain Marathon Marks keepsake of their feet (image, below right). But the real winner was the Kids First! organization, which received more than $4,000 from sales of Ice Mountain spring water.
Hitting the BeachParticipants in the August 1st Peoples Beach to Beacon 10K Road Race in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, met the Poland Spring “Dude” while others tried winning a frisbee, hacky sack or key chain at the Poland Spring prize wheel.
Staying the CoursePlenty of Arrowhead mountain spring water was available on September 12th to help triathletes stay the course during the Los Angeles (California) Triathalon (image, bottom left). It was just the thing to help runners stay cool and hydrated, from start to finish line.
Something for EveryoneThe SBLI Falmouth, Massachusetts, Road Race (image, bottom right) on August 8th had something for everyone – including race medals (compliments of Poland Spring), frisbees, hacky sacks, key chains and T-shirts, spinning the Poland Spring prize wheel or just enjoying a cold bottle of Poland Spring water.
A Marathon DayAs a sponsor of the ING New York City Marathon (image, bottom middle), Poland Spring was everywhere November 5-7, including: the Kickoff five-mile run in Central Park; the Health & Fitness Expo, where Poland Spring sales helped raise $3,500 for the New York Road Runners children charity; and the Poland Spring Hydration Zone on race day.
