Florida’s Crystal Springs Nature Preserve consists of 525 acres of extraordinary natural beauty. Privately owned, it was once used as a park and swimming hole. Today it is devoted to environmental education and serves thousands of students and scientists as a “living laboratory” to study the ecosystems within.

The facility includes a fully equipped laboratory for studying Florida’s diverse habitats and water resources. The preserve is enhanced by wildlife viewing opportunities along the Hillsborough River boardwalk; wooded trails; canoe adventures; and an extensive butterfly garden.

Nestlé Waters North America sponsors this preserve.

We believe when people are informed and appreciate water resources, they are more careful about how they use, conserve and protect them. We believe what thousands of students will learn at Crystal Springs Nature Preserve will go a long way toward making good decisions about the future of Florida’s water assets.

The company thanks Robert Thomas and his family, owners of Crystal Springs Nature Preserve, for helping make the vision of this marvelous facility a reality; the work being done; and knowing Crystal Springs will be protected forevermore.
