“This conservation easement from Nestlé Waters adds substantially to the network of open space and conservation lands held and protected by the township. This easement, coupled with the adjoining lands owned by the township along Chestnut Hill, will assure a forested and scenic backdrop enjoyed by the citizens and public of the township and region within the Pigeon Creek watershed.”
Ken ReedTownship Supervisor Describing Nestlé Waters’ donation of 54 acres to the town of South Coventry, Pennsylvania, February 3, 2003. Press Release, Nestlé Waters North America
We are entrusted with more than 12,000 acres surrounding our spring water properties, which are protected, open land. Because the spring sites we select are often in quiet, undeveloped settings, our spring facilities often serve to preserve large tracts of land in its natural state.
There are many examples of how we provide for healthy, open space, from a conservation easement in Pennsylvania, to sponsoring a nature preserve at our spring source in Florida, to restoring natural forest communities in Maine.
