U.S. Green Building Council LEED

The newest, state-of-the art, bottled water plants are equipped with the latest equipment and technology. They are also built using “green features” to achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Some marks of a “LEED-er” are:

• Recycled building materials

• Non-toxic building materials and maintenance

• Minimal impact exterior lighting

• Water efficiency

• Energy efficiency

• Waste reduction

• Native landscaping reducing the need for irrigation

• Indoor environmental quality through space design and controls that monitor temperature, humidity, lighting and air quality
