Greenwich, CT – January 11, 2008 – Nestlé Waters North America Inc. has begun an exclusive five-year partnership with Burger King Corporation, the second-largest fast food hamburger chain in the world. The partnership brings Nestlé® Pure Life® Purified Water, the third-ranked national bottled water brand in the United States, to more than 7,000 BURGER KING® restaurants in the U.S. 

The House Domestic Policy Subcommittee (of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee) on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. (Eastern) will hold a public hearing to discuss groundwater use by bottled water companies.  IBWA President and CEO Joe Doss and IBWA Member Nestlé Waters North America, represented by Heidi Paul, VP of Corporate Affairs, will be presenting oral and written testimony in separate panels during the hearing.
