New York Bottle Bill Delayed until April 2010 - Governor and Legislature Now Have Time to “Get it Right,” Says Nestlé Waters
New York, NY – Today, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York issued a written order enjoining all of the April 7, 2009 amendments of the Returnable Container Act (“Bottle Bill”) until April 1, 2010. Additionally, Judge Thomas Griesa enjoined the requirement for a New York specific UPC until the conclusion of the lawsuit.
