Gene Zimmerman, Forest Supervisor (retired) for the U.S. Forest Service in the San Bernardino National Forest
Nestlé Waters' Arrowhead brand has been sourced from springs in the San Bernardino National Forest for more than 100 years. The Arrowhead spring is a natural-flowing spring system which serves as the source of our spring water and which has been in continuous, sustainable use for bottling since the 1890s, prior to the creation of the San Bernardino National Forest in 1908.
We take our responsibility as a California company and water steward seriously. Our professionally trained geologists, hydro-geologists and engineers follow a rigorous monitoring process to ensure NWNA follows best practices for water management here and across all of our operations. Above, Gene Zimmerman, Forest Supervisor (retired) for the U.S. Forest Service in the San Bernardino National Forest, and an advisor to Nestlé Waters, describes the health of the forest and Nestle Waters' commitment to working in partnership with local communities to ensure these natural assets are thriving for generations to come.
