Arrowhead® Brand Mountain Spring Water Helps Support Firefighters and Communities Impacted by the Sand Canyon and Soberanes Fires

Arrowhead donates about 75,000 Bottles of Water for distribution to communities across the State of California

(Los Angeles and Stockton, CA) – As communities continue to be evacuated due to the devastating wildfires in California, ARROWHEAD® Brand Mountain Spring Water donated about 75,000 bottles water to the local chapters of the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army.

The Arrowhead brand has been providing mountain spring water to Californians for over 120 years. Today, as part of Nestlé Waters North America, the brand has over 1000 employees across the state and spring sources in California, Colorado and British Columbia.  With such a large presence in the state, Arrowhead works closely to help support local relief efforts.  Specifically, Arrowhead donated 37,440 bottles of water to the Sacramento chapter of the American Red Cross to distribute to those impacted by the Soberanes fire and 37,440 bottles of water to the Salvation Army to distribute to those impacted by the Sand Canyon fire.

The water will aid the organizations as they offer relief to residents and support firefighters and other first responders who have been battling the fire.

“As this fire displaces so many people from their homes, we are proud to help support our communities, neighbors and first responders, and to provide much-needed water to those directly affected by the horrible fires,” said Larry A. Lawrence, Natural Resource Manager for Arrowhead® Brand Mountain Spring Water in California.”

“Community partners like Arrowhead are there in times of need,” said Lilly Wyatt, Director of Communications and Marketing for the American Red Cross Gold Country Region. “The water they have donated to our region will help us to serve our local community as well as first responders when a disaster strikes.”

"We are in the midst of a difficult wildfire season and this generous donation will not only help to fill immediate needs as The Salvation Army responds to the Sand Canyon fire, it will also help in our response to future incidents,” stated John Berglund, Emergency Disaster Services Director, The Salvation Army USA Western Territory. “We are incredibly grateful for committed corporate partners like Arrowhead that make it possible to aid front-line responders and evacuees."
