Holiday Party Hydration Tips

The holiday season is nigh and for some, maintaining a healthy diet proves all the more difficult.

Carissa Bealert, registered dietitian and certified personal trainer recently appeared on Emotional Mojo, a nationally syndicated program produced by the WE network and imparted some tips on how to stay healthy during the holidays.  One tip Carissa shared was to bring a bottle of water to your holiday parties.

“Hydration is something I encourage you to think about year round, but it can be especially key during the hectic holidays, so grab a bottle to go,” said Carissa.

Maintaining proper hydration is essential year-round, particularly at this time of year. Carissa shared ways to make water more festive, including presentation. 

“Serve water in a pretty glass or make it festive with flavored Perrier,” said Carissa.
