Nestlé Waters Helps Provide Relief to Those Impacted by the Sand Canyon Fire

Aug 2, 2016

Over the past week, Arrowhead® Brand Mountain Spring Water donated over 100,000 bottles of water to organizations providing relief to residents impacted by fires throughout California.

As communities continue to be evacuated due to the devastating wildfires in California, Arrowhead® Brand Mountain Spring Water donated bottles of water to the local chapters of the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army. The Arrowhead® brand has been providing mountain spring water to Californians for over 120 years. Today, as part of Nestlé Waters North America, the brand has over 1000 employees across the state and spring sources in California, Colorado and British Columbia. With such a large presence in the state, Arrowhead works closely to help support local relief efforts. Specifically, Arrowhead donated 37,440 bottles of water to the Sacramento chapter of the American Red Cross to distribute to those impacted by the Soberanes fire and 37,440 bottles of water to both the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army to distribute to those impacted by the Sand Canyon fire.

The water aided the organizations as they offer relief to residents and support firefighters and other first responders who have been battling the fire. We recognize the dedicated men and women who have been instrumental in helping those impacted by the fire and those who are making sure water gets to communities and residents in need. We are proud to partner with the American Red Cross to ensure that this donation is reaching those most impacted by the fire. With California roots that run deep, Nestlé Waters will continue to support and contribute to this important local effort during this time of need.
