S Pellegrino celebrates Vogue Italia’s 50th Anniversary

A special limited edition bottle and the global launch of the young chef of the Year mark the association of two iconic ambassadors of the Italian art of living.

As a unique ambassador of Italian taste and style around the globe, S.Pellegrino continues to associate with other icons of the Italian art of living. Together with the worldwide renowned and influential fashion magazine Vogue Italia, the Nestlé Waters brand symbol of fine dining is giving birth to a project that combines Italian food and style. Convinced that real luxury today is about giving back and supporting emerging talents, S.Pellegrino and Vogue Italia join forces for new talent scouting.

Young Chef 2015
S.Pellegrino launches a global talent scouting to find the best young chefs from all over the world. Until December 15th, all the young chefs (under 30) of the world can submit their application together with their signature dish on www.finedininglovers.com

The world’s leading international educational and training centre for Italian Cuisine ALMA will select through the online applications the first 10 finalists for each of the 20 regions defined according to five golden rules: ingredients, skills, genius, beauty, message.

Between January 16th and February 28th, the 10 finalists of each area will compete during a local event. And 20 best local young chefs will be announced as the official finalists. Then in March, Vogue Italia will match the 20 chefs with 20 emerging stylists: each of them will ideate a fashion creation inspired by the signature dish of the chefs.

The culminating event is set on June 25th-27th in Milan, with S.Pellegrino official water of Expo Milano 2015 and of the Italian Pavillion. S.Pellegrino together with Vogue Italia will celebrate the best young chefs and stylists: an international jury of famous chefs will award the Young Chef 2015, while the cuisine and fashion lovers attending the final event will vote to assign Best Couple Chef /Stylist 2015.

Special edition
A bottle that is the physical symbol of this “marriage” between food and style has been designed. Dubai is the first market after Italy to present it. The fashion capital of the Middle East recently hosted the second edition of the Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience, organized in partnership with Vogue Italia. S.Pellegrino, represented by CEO Stefano Agostini, took the opportunity for a preview of the new special edition bottle that will be available on the best tables of the United Arab Emirates from March 2015. A roadshow will then involve the other markets.
