Tips for Staying Hydrated During the Holidays

Looking for ways to stay hydrated this holiday season? Registered dietitian Bonnie Taub-Dix, MA, RD, CDN offered some great tips for toasting good cheer and maintaining healthy hydration using the hashtag #Hydrate4Health on Twitter.

Bonnie recently partnered with Nestlé Waters North America to host a Twitter chat discussing how hydration can help you sparkle during the holiday season. During the hour-long chat, Bonnie posed 10 questions related to healthy hydration. In addition to providing her own expertise, the lively discussion included many other registered dietitians who, also  provided some great tips for how to stay hydrated while being festive, how to know  if you’re properly hydrated plus ways to maintain proper hydration in cold weather months. 

Several high-profile influencers chimed in, including the Partnership for a Healthier America and Drink UP.  

Bonnie is the author of Read It Before You Eat It and is a renowned speaker, author, media personality and awarded-winning dietitian.  She is also a blogger for U.S. News & World Report and writes the weekly “Nutrition Intuition” column for Everyday Health.
