Poland Spring kicked off their season of holiday giving with a trip to the Poland Food bank to assist with the annual “Thanksgiving Bag Hand-Off.”  Employees helped distribute 160 food bags loaded with a variety of Thanksgiving necessities including heads of cabbage that were donated by Al McKinney from Poland Spring's transport team.

"Thanksgiving should be a happy time for everyone. No one should go hungry so we were happy to donate our time," said Shelly Pittman, plant administrator and recent recipient of the Nestle Waters North America Volunteer Coordinator of the Year award. The team will return to the food bank in a couple of weeks to help with the "Christmas Bag Hand-Off."
