Washington D.C. - On June 16, Brian Flaherty, Vice President of Public Policy & External Affairs for Nestlé Waters North America, will join Secretary of State John Kerry for the “Our Ocean” Conference at the U.S. Department of State.
The conference will focus on sustainable fishing, marine pollution and ocean acidification. The conference will bring together 350-400 participants from more than 80 nations, including government officials, scientists, lawyers, practitioners, and leading international institutions to offer unique perspectives, and implement effective actions.
On Monday afternoon, Mr. Flaherty will explore solutions to concerns about marine debris, suggesting a zero-waste approach to beverage packaging by making progress through policy and action.
