Yumi Clevenger-Lee Elected to Keep America Beautiful Board of Directors

Nestlé Waters North America Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer Joins Stamford-Based National Community Improvement Nonprofit Board

 

STAMFORD, Conn. (Nov. 21, 2019) – Keep America Beautiful®, the nation’s leading community improvement nonprofit organization, announced the appointment of Yumi Clevenger-Lee, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Nestlé Waters North America (NWNA), to its national Board of Directors.

Both Keep America Beautiful and NWNA are based in Stamford, Connecticut, and have a long history of working together on Keep America Beautiful programs and initiatives focusing on promoting recycling infrastructure, sustainability education, and environmental stewardship.

Clevenger-Lee joins the 30-member board along with new appointees Ivonne Andreu
Category Business Unit Leader for Gum & Mints, Mars Wrigley, North America; Nicole Brockmueller, Senior Manager of Sustainability, Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company; Nedra Dickson, Managing Director, Global Supplier Diversity and Sustainability Programs, Accenture; and Amandine Robin, Senior Vice President North America, Communications and Sustainability at Pernod Ricard.

Clevenger-Lee oversees marketing strategy and business development of NWNA’s brands, including Poland Spring®, Deer Park®, Nestlé® Pure Life®, Perrier®, Acqua Panna® and S. Pellegrino®, as well as the company’s work in the areas of Insights, Innovation and eBusiness. She serves on the Executive Management Team of Nestlé Waters North America, reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer. She has experience that spans new product innovation, reinventing brands through purpose, and developing engaging consumer campaigns.

Most recently, Clevenger-Lee led marketing for Latin America at Cereal Partners Worldwide (CPW), a joint venture between General Mills and Nestlé to manufacture and market cereal globally in more than 120 markets. Based in Mexico, she was responsible for all marketing activities across 14 countries, including brand building, innovation/renovation, promotions, category advocacy, regulatory affairs, and margin expansion.

Prior to joining CPW in 2013, she spent nearly a decade in numerous marketing roles at General Mills, based in Minneapolis and Toronto, where she worked on a range of brands including Green Giant Vegetables, Cheerios and Walmart & Sam’s Club Bakeries.
