Poland Spring Hydration Station will be onsite to provide visitors with free spring water for their reusable water bottles
POLAND, ME – Poland Spring® Brand 100% Natural Spring Water is helping to celebrate the first full day of summer, right in its own back yard, at the 10th annual Heritage Day and Strawberry Festival. The celebration is held each year on the grounds of the Poland Spring Resort & Preservation Park.
This free, family-friendly event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on June 22, 2019 in Poland, Maine. Visitors are invited to come and enjoy special activities for children such as a petting zoo, face painting, and bounce houses, as well as craft vendors, live music, and plenty of strawberry shortcake and ice cream.
Many local non-profits and vendors will be on site with booths and displays, illustrating the vibrant Poland community and celebrating the important role the town has played in Maine’s history. Approximately 1,500 festival visitors are expected to attend.
Poland Spring® 100% Natural Spring Water has been a major sponsor of the community event since it began. This year the brand will again bring its popular Hydration Station, which will dispense free Poland Spring water for those who want to refill their reusable water bottles.
The Heritage Day Celebration will also include the Deputy Dennis P. Sampson Community 5k Run/Walk to benefit a scholarship fund in memory of the veteran police officer who unexpectedly passed away last year. The scholarship will go to a graduating Poland Regional High School student entering the field of First Responders. There is a registration fee to enter the race.
Plenty of free parking will be available.
