Oct 31, 2010

On November 1, 2010, Nestlé Waters North America Inc. (NWNA) completed its acquisition of select assets of Water Boy, Inc., America’s Best Bottled Water, Inc., and America’s Best Bottling Co., Inc., which collectively operated as a Long Island, NY-based bottled water company focusing on bulk products for the home and office delivery market. NWNA does not anticipate any disruption in service to Water Boy customers with outstanding service contracts that were part of the NWNA purchase.

The acquisition extends Nestlé Waters North America’s reach in the Long Island area. NWNA has a world-class distribution infrastructure that is well positioned to service new and existing customers in the region. Customers will continue to have access to five-gallon and other bottled water products under the Poland Spring®, Deer Park® and Nestlé® Pure Life® brands.

NWNA acquired Water Boy’s customer list, some bottling equipment, a few trucks and certain other intangible assets (e.g., contracts, licenses, permits and intellectual property) as part of the agreement.
