NWNA Named “Healthy Workplace Employer” for Third Consecutive Year

On February 14, NWNA accepted the “Healthy Workplace Employer” award for the third consecutive year from The Business Council of Fairfield County’s (BCFC) Wellness Roundtable.

The Healthy Workplace Employer Recognition Program has become the premiere award in Connecticut recognizing the outstanding achievements of businesses and organizations in implementing employee health promotion and wellness programs. The program acknowledges efforts to facilitate and encourage employee health, enhance productivity, and ensure healthy work environments.

NWNA’s received the highest recognition, the Platinum award, for its commitment to offering its employees a robust suite of wellness opportunities, specifically through [email protected]é.

Created 10 years ago, [email protected]é’s mission is to improve health, drive engagement, and reduce health care costs within the organization while continuing to be the world’s trusted leader in nutrition, health and wellness. The broad scope of programs that have been developed as part of HealthWorks help NWNA employees and families make educated health decisions through on-site health screenings/immunizations, health surveys, weight and disease management, health coaching and EAP/work-life services.
