Tom Smith is President of Customer Development and Sales Operations for Nestlé Waters North America. He reports directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer and is a member of the Executive Team.
In this role, Tom leads retail sales operations in the United States for some of the company’s iconic brands, including Nestlé® Pure Life®, Poland Spring®, Perrier®, and S. Pellegrino®.
Prior to this, Tom served as Chief Integration Officer for Nestlé Business Excellence in North America where he led the successful integration and implementation of various projects for Nestlé businesses in the U.S. market.
Tom has been part of the Nestlé sales organization for more than 30 years. During his tenure, Tom served as President of the Nestlé Walmart Team, where he was the single point of contact with Walmart on all matters across Nestlé companies. In addition, Tom was President of Nestlé Business Services for all Nestlé companies in North America and President for the Nestlé Sales Division for Nestlé USA. His experience also includes leadership of sales operations, customer development and category sales development for Nestlé USA, Nestlé Chocolate & Confections and Friskies® PetCare.
Tom began his career with Nestlé in 1985 and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Providence College. From 2010 to 2017, Tom served as a Board Member on The Midnight Mission in Los Angeles, an organization that offers paths to self-sufficiency for men, women and children who have lost direction.
