NWNA Helps Renovate Ballfields in Michigan’s Evart Public School District

Earlier this month, Arlene Anderson-Vincent, Natural Resource Manager, Technical & Production, joined personnel from the school district to mark the opening of the fields with a short dedication ceremony and an informal ribbon-cutting at the pitcher’s mound between double-header baseball games.

Back in October 2018, NWNA donated $80,000 to the Evart Public School District in Michigan to support needed renovations of their baseball and softball fields. Renovations included re-sodding along the baselines and infields, improving the warning tracks, repairing the fences and irrigation system, and designing and installing a new scoreboard.

These ballfields are a source of pride for the schools and for the community. We are proud to support the City of Evart and the Evart Public School District and hope that the ballplayers, their families and the entire community will enjoy them for years to come.
