MECOSTA — The small village park in Mecosta should be springing to life in the not-so-distant future.
The amenities at the village’s Bromley Park will include a new potable water well, thanks to a $10,000 donation from Nestlé Waters North America (NWNA). The donation, which was made Thursday morning at the village office, includes funds for drilling and the installation of a hand pump water well.
The donation came after more than a year of discussion between community organizations like Mecosta Revitalization and Arlene Anderson-Vincent, NWNA natural resource manager at Ice Mountain.
