A new community well was installed recently in the village's Bromley Park. A press release stated that Nestle Waters North America, the parent company of the Ice Mountain bottled water brand, donated about $20,000 toward construction of the well.

The donation funded drilling costs, construction of a cement walkway around the well to help provide safer access and protection from erosion, installation of parking posts and the hiring of an environmental engineering firm to support the village in obtaining necessary permits and to provide project oversight, the press release stated.

“This is a great addition to our community and we are grateful for the generous donation by Nestle Waters North America,” village president Steven Bishop stated. “The company is not just another local business. It sponsors and supports events, including those held in Bromley Park, that make a difference in the community.”
