Students learn about resource at Make a Splash Water Festival

Area third-graders got their hands a little muddy Wednesday as they learned more about the importance and impact of one of the world’s most abundant resources: water.

More than 350 area third-graders from Crossroads Charter Academy, Riverview and Brookside elementary schools and Weidman Elementary School cycled through a variety of water-related stations at the 17th annual Make A Splash Water Festival Wednesday at Northend Riverside Park in Big Rapids.
