Our Fleet of Vehicles

To transport water to our factories and our products to customers and consumers across the country, BlueTriton Brands operates a fleet of vehicles, spanning from tanker trucks to mid-size delivery trucks. We work with partners to provide additional transport capacity on roads and rails.

As a company, we take truck traffic management seriously and work to ensure the safety, courtesy, and professionalism of all drivers who transport water for BlueTriton Brands. We set rigorous standards for all employee drivers and third-party carriers including compliance with local traffic laws, safe operations and respect for the communities where we operate.

Alternative fuel and electric vehicles added to RR fleet
ReadyRefresh has converted 50% of its beverage delivery trucks to propane this year and has started to add electric vehicles to its last-mile fleet.

ReadyRefresh has added electric vehicles to its last-mile fleet.

ReadyRefresh is currently testing electric vans for its Manhattan deliveries and exploring how it could leverage e-bikes for its smaller, localized deliveries and mass transit for its Professional Cleaning Service as other methods to deliver the last mile.

Environmental stewardship is just one reason we began adding more than 150 medium-duty beverage delivery trucks in 2014. Fueled by propane, the trucks will reduce CO2 emissions by more than 24.6 million pounds over their vehicle lifetimes (compared to standard vehicles).

Each delivery truck is equipped with a California Air Resources Board- and Environmental Protection Agency-compliant ROUSH CleanTech propane autogas fuel system with a 45-gallon fuel tank.

BlueTriton Brand's propane trucks deliver products to customers across the country, including Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.

We’re also using rail for delivery. Since 2016, we’ve reduced over 1 million road miles driven by shipping a portion of our Poland Spring products by rail rather than trucks.

Road to Rail to transport water dispensers for refurbishing
Starting in 2019, ReadyRefresh began to ship water dispensers to be cleaned and redeployed for use from the West coast to the East coast by train instead of by truck. Each month, transporting by train saves approximately 100 tons of CO2e emissions compared to traveling by truck. That is like taking 255 passenger vehicles off the road for the year.

Poland Spring Origin transport offset

  • To help offset the environmental impact of shipping Poland Spring® ORIGIN nationally, the brand is proud of its investment in conservation efforts in New England.
  • These conservation efforts include the Bluesource-Baskahegan Improved Forest Management Project in ME, a project located on over 86K acres of forest in the NE.
